Michael A. Cotteleer, is a 1968 graduate of Northern Illinois University and a 1971 graduate of the Loyola University of Chicago College of Law. As a undergraduate, Mike was a member of the NIU track team, Vice-President of the student body, Chairman of the 1968 class project and a member of Sigma Alph Epsilon fraternity. In law school Mike was an alumni scholarship recipient, and a member of the Loyola Law Review. From 1974 to 1978 Mike served as assistant dean and associate professor of law At Lewis University College of Law (now Northern Illinois University College of Law). Mike has served on numerous state and local bar association committees, including service as Secretary of the Illinois State Bar Association committee on corporations and securities law.

Mike has served as president of the Northern Illinois Unversity Alumni Association and as a member of the Northern Illinois University Foundation. Mike is a veteran of service with the United States Army in Europe, and has been recognized in Who's Who in the Midwest and Who's Who in American Law. Mike's practice is concentrated in the areas of business and commercial transactions, commercial real estate transactions and business and commercial litigation.

Kenneth M. Young is a 1965 graduate of Augustana College
(Rock Island, IL) and of the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, 1968. As an undergraduate at Augustana, Ken played football as a starting wide-receiver and was a three time NCAA medalist in track. He was also a member of an Augustana debate team that debated the national social and political issues of the early ‘60s.

Ken was admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois and in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in November, 1968; the United States Court of Appeals for the Northern District of Illinois in October, 1979 and the United States Tax Court in November, 1984.

Ken’s practice experience and areas include various types of litigation and general business law including employer/ employee representation, mergers and acquisitions, state and national bank representation, including regulatory compliance and secured lending; tax litigation; tort and contract disputes; income tax and estate planning matters; land development and construction law; representation of professional and amateur athletes including members of the NFL, LPGA, TAC which was formerly the U. S. Track and Field Federation, the Alpine Racing Division of the United States Ski Association; the Chicago Area Runners Association and professional tri-athletes. Ken has served as a director for various not-for-profit corporations and is a Trustee for charitable remainder trusts.
